Ned H Lowery Jr. is currently serving as a Trustee for the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters and is honored to have served for many years. He was member of the Oceana Volunteer Fire Department (part of the Virginia Beach Fire Department) before  starting his career with the Norfolk Airport Fire Department Local 3406.  In 2000, Ned switched to the Virginia Beach Fire Department and is currently on the job as a Master Firefighter. During his time with Local 3406, he served as Treasurer. During his career with Virginia Beach, he has served as Local 2924 Secretary and Battalion Representative.
Ned has also served as a Sergeant at Arms for the IAFF Convention.
