Paul Hebert serves as the elected Secretary/Treasurer for the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters. Paul retired from Prince William County Fire and Rescue as a Captain in October 2024. He served Prince William for over 34 years, and also served Prince William Local 2598 as Sergeant at Arms (1994-2000), Local Secretary/Treasurer (2000-2006) and Local President (2006-2020). He was then elected as President Emeritus of Local 2598. He has also served as a District Vice President for the VPFF, served as Legislative Chairperson and was elected as VPFF Secretary/Treasurer in 2016.

Paul also serves as a District Field Service Representative for the 4th District of the IAFF. He is a past winner of the Raymond Via Award from the VPFF for local service, and was awarded the IAFF Local Leadership Award at the IAFF Convention in 2022.
