The Legislative Committee of the VPFF (with representatives from all districts), the Executive Board and the Director of Governmental Affairs, have developed the following legislative priorities for the 2026 Virginia General Assembly session.

Patrons have been selected and the legislation has been drafted. Once the bill is uploaded to the Virginia Legislative Information System (LIS), a link will be included with each of the priorities above.
In addition to the VPFF priorities, we will be monitoring and advocating/opposing numerous other pieces of proposed legislation as the session gets underway.
