Robert is a Lieutenant with the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department with 23 years as a Professional Firefighter/EMT-B. He joined the IAFF during recruit school and has 23 years as an IAFF Member. During his time as a member, he has served in many roles, helping to advance the mission of the IAFF, VPFF, and Local 2068. He currently serves on the VPFF Legislative Committee, representing the 3rd District. He began his Union journey as a steward at his firehouse. He served as steward until being elected to his first office with Local 2068. Robert went on to serve in many roles, including Battalion Director, Vice President, and President of Local 2068. Beyond service to the union and community, Robert is a husband, father, and US Army veteran
