William Boger is the District Vice President for the 5th District of the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters, representing 17 locals and over 2,000 members in Central Virginia. He has served as an active firefighter for the County of Henrico, Virginia for 22 years, where he has also served as president of Local 1568. He is a graduate of the IAFF Political Training Academy, the IAFF Communications Training Academy and the Harvard Trade Union Program. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. He was first elected to the DVP role in 2020 and has served on the VPFF legislative committee and VPFF charitable foundation board of directors. He is currently serving as the communications director for the VPFF.
He was awarded the Raymond Via Award for local leadership at the 2026 VPFF Convention.
