The 4th District Professional Fire Fighters are proud to announce plans for our  MDA Benefit Golf Tournament to kick off the week for Convention 2008. The MDA Benefit Golf Tournament will be held on Wednesday May 14^th, 2008 at the Ft. Eustis Pines Golf Club. It is a chance to enjoy a great afternoon of golf and a cookout with your friends and associates all while helping to raise money for the muscular dystrophy association. The goal of this event is to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Research to help find a cure and we would love for you to be a part of this special cause.

All of the money raised will stay locally to help serve the over 900 families that MDA serves in the area. The money helps to fund things such as monthly clinic visits for our adult and children clients, summer camp in Wakefield, VA., the purchase of wheelchairs, leg braces and communication devices and of course research. It is hard to believe that there is still no cure for this devastating muscle-wasting disease, but it is gratifying to know exactly where our money is going and how it is helping to find a cure.
